Any payment(s) received for my services confirms that you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy. I am fully committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes how I use your information, what data I hold, how data is used, how long data is held for, and how it is protected when you use my services. 

Types of Data

While using my services you may be required to provide certain personal identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you in order to provide a desired service. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to; usage data, internet protocol address (IP address), browsers type, browser version and pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Personal data may be submitted through email or via the website contact form including first and second names, telephone numbers, email addresses, billing and delivery addresses, information relating to your project including guest names and addresses. The storage of any data is password protected and only accessible by myself only to be used to fulfil your order. Any information provided will not be shared, sold or disclosed to any third parties.

How Data is used

Data is used to understand how users use the service and resources on this site. It is also used as a means of responding to client inquiries using their desired contact details such as email, letter and phone details in order to provide certain services. Data may also be used for analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of campaigns and to evaluate and improve services, products, marketing and your experience. Images of completed projects will be uploaded to my website portfolio and social media platforms. When using images of your project online I endeavour to ensure this does not show full details of your project. At any time you can request for images not to be used or removed at any time.

The security of your personal data is of the utmost importance. While I aim to offer the best possible service to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage of data is 100% secure.

Retention of personal data

I hold personal information up to the date of your event (or the date considered necessary to comply with legal obligations) after which point all emails, addresses and guest names are archived. This is then permanently deleted one year after the project completion date. Invoices will be kept in line with current tax regulations. You can request removal of your data by email at any time.

Under certain circumstances information you disclose may be disclosed by law in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency) to; comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of the Company, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the service, protect the personal safety of users of the service or the public, and protect again legal liability.

As part of my services there may be links to other websites that are not operated by Bethany Solomon Calligraphy.

If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third-parties site. I strongly advise that you review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy

policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

With other users, when you share personal information or interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed. If you interact with other users or register through a third party social media service (Google, Facebook and Instagram) your contacts on this service may see your name, profile, pictures and description of your activity. Similarly, all other users will be able to view descriptions of your activity, view your profile and communicate with you. If you decide to register through or grant access to a third- party social media service, we may collect personal data that is already associated with your third party social media service’s account. Information includes your name, email addresses, your activities and contact list associated with that account. If you share additional information through your third-party social media service account you are giving permission to use, share and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Policy

This privacy policy does not address anyone under the age of 16. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that personal data has been collected from anyone under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, steps are taken to remove that information from the server. If consent is required as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent’s consent before we collect and use that information.

From time to time there will be updates to my Privacy Policy. You will be notified of any changes on this Privacy Policy page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
